COWBERRY
The berry is rich in vitamins - A, B, C, E. And it also contains carbohydrates, carotene, tannins and organic acids important for the body. The berry is also rich in minerals: calcium, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium and manganese. Perhaps its most important advantage is that it contains benzoic acid - an antiseptic that helps to cope with almost any infection. Not only red ripe berries, but also seeds and leaves have healing power. In addition, cowberry is unique in that it retains its medicinal properties even after heat treatment.
The sweet and sour berry ripens in August-September.
CRANBERRIES
Cranberries are one of the healthiest wild berries in the world. Its berries contain vitamins C, PP, K, B1, B2, many organic acids, micro- and macroelements, flavonoids, sugars, pectin, coloring, nitrogenous, tannins, phytoncides. The high content of benzoic acid allows you to store cranberries without adding preservatives, without subjecting them to heat treatment, for a long time. Cranberries are a powerful natural healing agent. It has the ability to resist infections due to the high concentration of tannin, and also enhance the effect of drugs. The berry can positively affect both certain organs and systems, and improve the functioning of the whole organism as a whole.
The berries ripen in mid-September, the picking season lasts until October.
BLUEBERRIES
Blueberry is a berry unique in its composition, which contains a huge amount of various vitamins and microelements that are necessary for the body to function properly. Everyone knows that blueberries have a beneficial effect on eyesight. It is also a natural antiseptic and antibiotic. Blueberries have antimicrobial, anti-rotting and astringent properties. Blueberries are also believed to help prevent cancer.
The berries are harvested in July-August.
